David meets mom and dad

David and I drove up to my parents. We spent the 28, 29 and left the morning of the 30th it was a great weekend. We played cards, went to church, had a fire in the fire pit and took a walk down the rails to trails.  Not in that order necessarily but it was great. They like him, which make me like him more.

On the way home on the 30th we stopped in lansing for lunch to try a new restaurant that David had heard about Soup Spoon Cafe. The food was great but for some reason it seemed to take a LLLOOONNNNg time. and then the waiter who didn't write our order down couldn't remember part of davids so he got both sides of chips and coleslaw and he (the waiter) laughed and thought it was funny.  Then when David paid the pill he shorted him his change that did it we won't be back. Sorry little cafe we will find another one next time.

  There were crazy paintings on the wall and they were for sale. like $300. WOW

but i did like the light fixture. I think i have been to another restaurant that does this but i can't remember where.??
