Another trip to Greenfield Village
Old time baseball game is what they called it. They played it at Greenfield Village every sat and sunday in the summer. It was really cool. The don't wear gloves because its not manly, and the baseball is a little different from the ones they use today. Here are some of the pictures.
The 2 teams were the La-de-da and the Nationals.They lined up and talked to us at the end of the game.

The Lah-de-dahs really didn't do so well...that sounds like a fun came to watch.
ReplyDeleteIts funny that they don't wear mitts because its unmanly. Yet, one of the teams name is the Lah-de-dahs? ;) Still it looks like a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.
