Octoberfest

Last sat October 14 was the yearly event at my mother in laws church! We have made it a yearly tradition! They had a A few new things this year. One was a hammer guy that you hit the Bell you get more tickets for the raffle. They also set aside a half hour and gave German polka dance lessons! Yes David and I got out there and try to learn the German polka dance. What we found out was that neither one of us is coordinated enough to really do it but we were out there trying! Unfortunately since we were both on the floor there are no pictures. But here are a few pictures of the event.

We also won one of the raffles they had going. You bought these tickets and put them in and at the end of the night they drew and whoever’s number they drew got a gift. I had donated a gift from Crabtree & Evelyn so it was cool to see who got them. The basket that we won had a bunch of nuts and snack foods and about four bags of different flavors of jerky and couple cases of beer! Which is still sitting in my living room floor. Halloween October beer of course!
