Aug 17th Kim came down to spend a few days with David and I! One of the things neither kim nor i have done was go to the Ford House. Which is within walking distance of where i live now! So we went. We had lunch in Cotsworth Cafe, and then took a tour of the grounds and house of Edsel and Eleanor Ford! Very pretty.
We learned that was the only son of Henry Ford (the car company). Edsel died of cancer at at 46, which is sad. His son Henry II stepped up to his father's shoes after his passing. Edsels wife lived to be 89 i think and never remarried. she was around 42 when Edsel died they had 4 children.
That looks like so much fun!
